Grammys 2023: Lin-Manuel Miranda Beats Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish to Win Best Song Written for Visual Media

Lin-Manuel Miranda has won the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media as the songwriter behind the Encanto hit “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” He won ahead of Beyoncé (King Richard’s “Be Alive”), Lady Gaga (“Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick), Taylor Swift (“Carolina” from Where the Crawdads Sing), Jessy Wilson (The Woman King’s “Keep Rising”), and Billie Eilish and Finneas (Turning Red’s “Nobody Like U”).

Earlier in the day, the producers of the Encanto soundtrack won Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, and Germaine Franco won Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for his work on Encanto.
