Today Apple has released iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, and watchOS 10.1 to all supported devices. The downloads should already be available to all who manually search for them, in usual Apple fashion (see that, Google?).

iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 come one day later than previously rumored, and bring with them support for continuing a large AirDrop file transfer over the internet when you are out of AirDrop range. The Apple Music app now includes options to favorite songs, albums, and playlists, and you can find new song suggestions at the end of every playlist (Spotify says hi).

The fix for high SAR values in France on the iPhone 12 has also been included. Screen Time syncing across devices has been improved, and there are of course several bug fixes too, as with any update. For example, an issue the could cause display image persistence has been addressed, as has a bug that could cause the Significant Location setting to reset when transferring or pairing an Apple Watch for the first time. iPadOS 17.1 also adds support for the USB-C Apple Pencil that was announced last week.

watchOS 10.1 brings the Double Tap gesture to the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. This can be used to perform the primary action in notifications and most apps, meaning it lets you answer a call, play and pause music, stop a timer, and more.

On the Apple Watch Series 7 and later, NameDrop now lets you exchange contact information with someone by simply bringing your Apple Watch near their iPhone running iOS 17, or their Apple Watch if it's supported. My Card is also available as a complication for quick access to NameDrop.

There are bug fixes here too, including for an issue that caused the climate section in the Home app to be blank, one that messed with syncing cities between the iPhone and the Apple Watch in the Weather app, and one where the scroll bar could unexpectedly become visible on the display.
