Hillary Clinton Likens Trump To Hitler On ‘The View’, Suggests He Would Cancel Elections

Far-left authoritarian and two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton started her 2024 campaigning a little early, joining the ladies of The View to talk about the stakes of what could prove to be a watershed moment.

The former Secretary of State, who lost Presidential election challenges to Barack Obama in 2008 and Donald Trump in 2016, promulgated a blistering series of fake news and false attacks against former President Donald Trump.

Most notably, Clinton compared President Trump to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

Clinton had her talking points teed up by The View co-host Sunny Hostin, who asked what would happen if Trump were to win the election in 2024.

Before getting into falsehoods, Clinton told Hostin that Trump’s election “… would be the end of our country as we know it.” This is technically a true statement, if the country we know is this current one, under Bidenomics and a rapidly unraveling global empire.

Clinton’s reasoning goes something like this: Trump wasn’t able to really carry out his agenda during his first term, because he was restrained by the necessity of re-election and also by the people around him.

But that won’t be a problem for Trump this time around, because:

“Now, if he were ever near The Oval Office again, find people who have no principles, no conscience, who are totally tied to his fortunes, literally, and therefore would do whatever he said.”

Conservative critics of Trump would argue that Clinton is partially right – Trump was surrounded by people who refused to carry out his agenda. But that’s because the people around him were far more sympathetic to the agenda of “The Swamp” and people like Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Compares Trump To Hitler

Clinton’s main talking point, issued without evidence, centered around a conspiracy theory which claims that President Trump will cancel elections if he is returned to office.

Clinton touted her diplomatic bona fides to argue this point, telling Hostin, “… When I was secretary of state, I used to talk about ‘one and done.’ What I meant by that is that people would get legitimately elected, and then they would try to do away with elections and do away with opposition and do away with a free press.”

Eagle-eared listeners may recall that this is a huge turning point for Clinton, who up until that moment had repeatedly referred to Trump as an “illegitimate” president, rather than one who was legitimately elected.

But it was there that Clinton made her most controversial remarks, to the knowing nods of her fellow talking heads:

“Hitler was duly elected right? And so, all of a sudden, somebody with those tendencies, the dictatorial, authoritarian tendencies, would be like, ‘Oh, OK, we’re going to shut this down, we’re going to throw these people in jail,’ and they didn’t usually telegraph that. Trump is telling us what he intends to do.”

The theme has been a familiar one to Clinton. Earlier this year at an event with Democrat Nancy Pelosi, Clinton warned of “taking democracy for granted.”
