Shabaka has released the second single from his new album, Perceive Its Beauty, Acknowledge Its Grace. The new song, “I’ll Do Whatever You Want,” formally features Floating Points and Laraaji, but it boasts additional contributions from André 3000, Esperanza Spalding, Carlos Niño, Tom Herbert, guitarist Dave Okumu, and drummer Marcus Gilmore. Listen to the track below.

Shabaka co-wrote “I’ll Do Whatever You Want” with Floating Points and Laraaji, and he co-produced it with Dilip Harris. (Harris also mixed the song, and Floating Points lent additional production.) On the track, Shabaka plays the Japanese shakuhachi flute, while André 3000 plays a Teotihuacan drone flute.

Perceive Its Beauty, Acknowledge Its Grace is out April 12. It’s the Sons of Kemet and Comet Is Coming bandleader’s first full-length solo album.
