Netflix is the streaming giant that has been a source of entertainment for many people over the past decade or so. While the service provides plenty of critically acclaimed TV shows for audiences to binge-watch on weekends, such as Stranger Things, Dark, Squid Game, and Wednesday, it also adds tons of new content every month, ensuring we never run out of options.
Just as the previous month saw the release of several of its original TV series, including Mulligan, XO, Kitty, and FUBAR, this month has even more anticipated shows set for release. Although covering most of them, we only appear to be scratching the surface. In any case, these are the best Original TV series coming to Netflix in June 2023.
Manifest Season 4 Part 2 (June 2)
Manifest was intended to be canceled by NBC after the conclusion of its third season in 2021, but after Netflix licensed the series that summer, the show is currently heading towards its conclusion, with part two set to release on June 2. The following is a synopsis of Manifest Season 4 Part 2 via Netflix:
"In the aftermath of Angelina unleashing a devastating volcanic fissure, the passengers face severe scrutiny in a world fueled by 828er hate, no longer free to solve their own Callings without constant supervision by the unscrupulous 828 Registry. A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers. As Michaela grieves the loss of her beloved husband Zeke, she must team up with her old flame Jared to find new methods to investigate Callings. But Angelina's nefarious sapphire powers continue to wreak havoc, leading to a struggle between good and evil down to their very last day in this most terrifying, suspenseful and joyous chapter of the Manifest story."
Never Have I Ever Season 4 (June 8)
Mindy Kaling's incredible comedy series returns this month for its fourth and final season, and with its enormous success over the years, it is certainly one of the most anticipated shows this year. Devi, Ben, and Paxton's love triangle is still on the table, even though two of the three are now in their senior year of high school.
Despite almost getting further away from Ben and Paxton, Devi opted to stay and is now faced with choosing between Ben and Paxton, her career, and her family. The final season, which premieres on June 8, will consist of ten episodes.
Bloodhounds (June 9)
Bloodhounds is an upcoming Netflix Original Korean series based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It is one of the few action thrillers this year that has managed to capture the hearts and minds of audiences and will undoubtedly emerge as one of the year's best when it comes out on June 9.
The plot revolves around two high school students, Kim Geon Woo, a passionate boxer who drops out of school to pay off his mother's debts, and Hong Woo Jin, a bully who is expelled for bad behavior. When they are employed by a powerful man in the criminal underworld, their lives are turned upside down, and they struggle to adjust to new circumstances.
Our Planet II (June 14)
Our Planet is one of the most successful and beloved wildlife documentaries narrated by Sir. David Attenborough, who has also voiced several other popular documentaries such as Apple TV+'s Prehistoric Planet, Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, and Penguins.
After nearly four years, the documentary series will return for its second season this June. Netflix Tudum provides an excellent preview of what to expect from the series in a recent article.

Black Mirror Season 6 (June 15)
Although it may seem unbelievable, it has almost been four years since the release of the fifth season of Black Mirror, and after years of deliberation, the sixth season is almost around the corner. According to reports, Black Mirror season six will have the most unpredictable and unexpected scenarios, making the wait worthwhile for viewers.
Given that each episode stands alone, Black Mirror season six will explore five separate scenarios in five episodes titled Joan is Awful, Loch Henry, Beyond the Sea, Mazey Day, and Demon 79. To keep your excitement at bay, make sure to watch the sixth season of Black Mirror when it premieres on Netflix on June 15.
Skull Island (June 22)
Skull Island is the first animated series in the MonsterVerse, which has given rise to films such as Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of Monsters, and Godzilla vs. Kong. The series is similar to the 2017 blockbuster Kong: Skull Island, although it tells its own story.
The plot revolves around a group of shipwrecked explorers who end up on an isolated island where they encounter bizarre creatures hell-bent on killing the invaders and other people who are not pleased with the group's arrival. Will the explorers be able to escape their dire situation and find safety?
