Beyoncé has won the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance with “Plastic Off the Sofa.” The musician beat out Adam Blackstone (“‘Round Midnight,” featuring Jazmine Sullivan), Babyface (“Keeps on Fallin’,” featuring Ella Mai), Mary J. Blige (“Good Morning Gorgeous”), and Snoh Aalegra (“Do 4 Love”) to win the award.
Beyoncé has now won Best Traditional R&B Performance three times, having previously been victorious in 2010 (“At Last”) and 2013 (“Love on Top”). She joins Lalah Hathaway as the only three-time winners in the category.
Beyoncé was the most-nominated artist at the 2023 Grammy Awards, having gotten nine total nods. She has gotten 88 career nominations, tying her husband, Jay-Z, for the record of most nominations.
